This year MadebyGoogle are explicitly advertising the IO keynote across their social channels, in contrast with 2021 where they stayed radio silent and posted a tweet summarising notable app features coming to their devices after the fact. Going by the program/schedule they seem to have done a lot more editorializing(they've even cut IO as a whole from 3 days down to 2) which at least implies a more well rounded keynote which isn't being held hostage by Google Search and Google Cloud divisions infodumping about upcoming architecture/technology. They'll do it to some extent, but it probably won't be as top heavy as last year (where most of the tech was so early in the pipeline even Google's own product teams couldn't use it yet, let alone outside developers/consumers).
