every time some dall-e 2 poo poo gets posted I open up mini dall-e and yell at it and ask it why it can't be more like its younger brother then I feel bad because when dall-e came out like a year ago it completely blew my mind and I've had lots of fun playing with the various offshoots of it but still, GODDAMN that dall-e 2 poo poo is tight, and I cannot wait to get access I'm maybe even more excited about other people and companies offering access to versions that have no (or very few) restrictions on the input/output

Someone mentioned it earlier in the thread that while a bunch of people are looking to capitalize and make money on this very quickly they are going to lose control. Subscriptions to a generative-netflix is one thing, but why not have the model itself run on hardware you own or rent yourself? There is way too much opportunity to undercut everyone at such a fast pace that I'm really curious at how the entertainment industry is going to take this tech getting out even more. This thing can generate fully-realized concept art in seconds. Even just to spit out ideas you have in your head is so goddamn breaking.
