Or just play dragoon where you can just click on someone at half health on the group frames then press jump to teleport to them despite having no idea where they are on the map. I can't stress enough how easy dragoon is and you should play it if you want to climb.

Yes, always use target nearest, I've done that since ARR for PvE, it's the optimal way to target things no matter what job you are. Also for small scale pvp the enemy party menu is how you click to target, it was the same for Feast, put it near the center of your screen and click someone with low hp/mp.

I like how Monk is pretty simple now, beyond needing to remember to do a positional at the end of each of your bnb combos. I also like getting full stickers and popping zweefighting for Big Number

had a p3s learning group manage to facetank our way thru to enrage on our first pull today! had decent dps output but sadly just couldn't get thru FoF without mass casualties and eventually started flagging. also realized that i've been doing my positionals backwards since i hosed with my hotbars around 6.1 launch so, uh, that should help at least

They've finally got everything figured out for the Housing issues. On the 15th they'll have some maintenance, and after that everything will display correctly and the suspensions on purchasing and relocating will be lifted. Everyone will have until 7:59AM PDT (11:59PM JST) on the 26th to finalize their land purchases. The lottery cycles will begin again at 8:00 AM PDT (12:00AM JST on the 27th) and will return to it's 5 day/4 day rotation. If you won a plot but received a Gil refund, you'll still be able to get your plot. They also had this to say: quote:In patch 6.2 we plan to implement an NPC by which you may voluntarily return the deposit you were accidentally refunded.

So they've basically given up on getting that money back. I doubt very many people are going to willingly give the money they were supposed to spend after the fact.

It's probably the best way to do it. If people feel guilty about getting a free house they have a way to return the refund, but they're not obligated to. And at the end of the day it's just MMO money so forcing the issue would gain SE nothing at the cost of further pissing off players.

Also it's basically unenforceable. It's been a while, what if you borrowed money from a friend for the deposit, or you started spending it after you "lost" and got the deposit back and now you don't have however many million you need to pay the deposit. Are you just hosed? Your house is held for ransom until you get the money back? Are you in debt now? It's the only reasonable way to handle it and it's a fairly nice gesture to be like "whoops sorry for the trouble this house is... on the house  "

Allow anyone to donate to NPC. Have NPC on each server state the name of the player who has donated the most Gil, with no other info (not how much, not who is second). Solve Gil inflation overnight

To be clear they did not actually say you get anything for surrendering the money they are unwilling to forcibly take from you. They have shown time and again that they won't do data rollbacks or forcibly take things from players. Bank error in the player's favor indeed.
