CRUSTY MINGE posted:Yeah. But imagine having a plumbed outhouse with one of those top/bottom split farmhouse doors that you can sit in at 7am with the top door open and wave at the neighbors as they drive to work. This is pretty much it, my uncle bought second hand houses that got delivered on a truck for his farm*. You basically walk in to a huge lot of wooden houses and pick the one you want, there are lovely modern prefabs you can buy, but he always ended up with the "It's got a few more years of life in it darlin'" model. They tend to lack bathrooms, so he would get a outhouse with a toilet, wash stand and shower, and one memorable year, a bidet. He still is very fond of the split doors, although now they live in a city he's no longer allowed to sit on the toilet with the top half open yelling instructions to farm hands. *"How's the farm doing?" "farm's flooded but at least it's not on fire like last year"

I've got a bracket on the top of my roof racks specifically for a propane tank, it's great. I've seen someone lose their propane tank on the highway though, with the same thing but not clamped properly. Secure your poo poo, people.

drat. The video starts with the trailer bogie already hosed up. What possesses one to keep on truckin' through that? You've already hosed it up. The only time a semi has tangled with one of my work vehicles, the guy came into the customer location to tell me. Dragged the trailer's rear under-rider bar straight through the light and grille of a Tundra. Thought he was going to lose his job, but the insurance companies just paid out and he was back on the road the next day. Making a mistake isn't as important as what you do next, IME. He says all this, two days after smacking the driver's side mirror of his work truck against a seacan. Snapped the cast metal arm off right under the mirror itself. Idiot. That was a $200 mistake right there, as it is only sold as an entire assembly.
