Actually, handy this got bumped because it reminded me I had something to nominate Biggest Disappointment of the Year 22nd April AEW Rampage Adam Cole vs Tomohiro Ishii Boy did this not work. I'm not sure I've seen a worse Ishii singles match, at least not anything he's done in a decade. It's not awful or even really bad, it's just mediocre. No chemistry. Adam Cole looking tiny and throwing dogshit strikes with Ishii. Just did not work for me

Show of the Year: New Japan BoSJ 24/05 Just a great show top to bottom. Everyone had their working boots on for the free show and there wasn’t a single bad match in there

Yeah I'll second that, wasn't a bad match on the card and the energy was up for everybody the entire night through despite being a really packed card with a ton of matches.

if I have been very busy and do not have time in my life for BOSJ, should I just throw in last night's show or would I be missing out? Might be able to eke out space for the MOTYCs but definitely not all the HMs...

The whole show was a blast, the great matches were great but there wasn't a bad match on the entire show and all of them had something exciting about them (Connors and Taguchi in particular was a delight). I think the "worst" match was Akira vs. Zayne, which was the first match on the card, and even that was good!
