It is criminal that so few people are bothering to check All Japan. That's the 14th MOTYC I have given them this year and 37th HM, which is 2nd to NJPW & AEW respectively. The big matches rarely disappoint, they have some really exciting young talent (see the opener between NEXTREAM & TE with Omori the oldest at 26 & still 3.5 years into his career), they make use of a good selection of outsiders like Takuya Nomura & Shigehiro Irie & T-Hawk, booking has been mostly solid recently.

All Japan rules OK?

To back up my assertion, I have 10 wrestlers who have appeared in at least 12 MOTYC & HM nominations. Obviously it reflects what I watch & like, so there's a couple of NOAH guys, 3 women from the world of joshi, the never-ageing Masato Tanaka. And then the top 4 people are Shotaro Ashino (AJPW), T-Hawk (GLEAT but part-time AJPW), Yuma Aoyagi (AJPW) & Kento Miyahara (AJPW), the first 3 in 15 matches I've nominated a piece, Kento in 16. I suspect that changes once I've caught up on BOSJ because El Lindaman is in touching distance of the top 10, but honestly, AJPW is pretty must watch wrestling right now & has been for a while.
