I'm not going into the covid thread to find out but I'm genuinely curious and figured someone here would know, is there any ongoing effort to make a vaccine that's actually effective against the current strains or am I forced to admit that Trump gave us Project Warp Speed and Biden gave us nothing except pretending it's over? I mean I'm fine with pretending it's over, literally everyone around me is obviously feeling the same way so I have no choice, but it would be nice to also have actual protection.
