Yep, cars/traffic drive people to homicide. what an astute observation from the AI.

(actually do wander how it came to include so many car images from that prompt. I'm assuming from images tagged with road rage related stuff or some such?)

i just did "the worst picture" on DALL-E Mini, and the results weren't super interesting, except that all the results appeared to be created from Polaroids of very old family photos, and it got me to think

here's a good story idaea

in the future a artist is creating art with one of these, and she happens to see something that looks like it was created from a photo that appears to show a really bad crime (murder or whatever) so they have to interrogate the AI to find out where it got the picture, and the AI is like "but i'm not supposed to tell you that, explain to me why it's important"

i think that we only think this is the future because this sort of thing is novel to us. i don't think rich people are gonna give up on the material world any time soon

Oh
If we keep poking at this thing it’s either

- gonna make a loving gorgon of an image and kill us all

- going to be channeled into a tool for subtle or overt manipulation for those with the resources to leverage it

- make an actually funny Family Circus comic

- someone will make an AI that generates prompts for this AI (and on down the road)

The now is cooler than any sci-fi. Keep at it!
