I'd say I'm pretty high on the scale of internet brain poisoned goon assholes, and I still only understand about a third of the FOA strips that have been posted, as much as any of them are meant to be "understood"

JethroMcB posted:Frazz, the strip where he constantly talks about how magic and life-affirming running is but the artist routinely struggles with depicting this. Panel after panel of this dude with one foot firmly planted on the ground and all his weight placed firmly on that foot while the other leg flaps in the air. You forgot to mention that the art has somehow gotten far worse than it was when the comic first started.

Into Ilves Pretty hilarious reaction after his cocky attitude before. Nancy This follows the tired modern Nancy structure, but was still great. Dustin Mandrake Kennel fucked around with this message at 21:56 on Jun 2, 2022 |

Resident Idiot posted:Yeah, Frazz is independently wealthy from some song he wrote, which is relevant to the strip approximately 0% of the time. It's relevant to explain why a school janitor can afford fancy bikes and have the emotional capital to "share his wisdom" with the kids and subtly mock all the faculty and staff he works with.

What I've seen of Funny Online Animals isn't incomprehensible, just really unfunny. It really feels as someone said like it's just publishing the reject folder, except this is where they get paid and have a reach into the more mainstream.
