What on earth is it with tories and utterly bizzare fashion choices. Man looks like he left one direction before they became famous and has arranged his entire personality around this fact.

So what kind of loving songs are the Tories singing in their karaoke groups? Are they just singing God save the King over and over again

OwlFancier posted:https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zQrdKtPJxI0 There was also a video where someone had synced this song to tressa's theme from octopath traveller and was almost perfect. Unfortunately I've long since lost the link to it and can't find it on YouTube now. 148 is a big big number. He's going to have to dish out favours for every single vote now, he has no majority.

Dabir posted:So he's sticking around? For the time being. Although knowing almost half the parliamentary party wants him gone (& apparently more than half of the membership) I'm sure people around him will be looking for a way for him to exit "gracefully" at some point in the next 6-8 months. David Davis seems to have been correct in his assessment that the rebels shot their wad too early: they'd have been better waiting until after the by-election double header this month. For a sense of how poor this result was, Boris had 41.2% against. Thatcher in 1990 stepped down after (& it was a slightly different mechanism but) Hestletine got 40.9% against her. Which isn't to say I think Boris will wake up tomorrow morning & decide he can't go on for the good of the party (never mind the country) because he doesn't give a poo poo about anyone but himself. Just pointing out how lovely a position he's in. forkboy84 fucked around with this message at 21:14 on Jun 6, 2022 |

Amazing. It's a win-win. He's a neutered PM, unable to guarantee a majority in parliament anymore, and he's stopped any of the sycophantic wankers from filling his shoes. He's untouchable for at least a year now, and all the time, he's destroying the party. I prefer this timeline than that one that leads to PM Truss.
