Saw Weird Al last night. Wow. This tour is exclusively originals rather than parodies, and they had some pretty unusual arrangements. The best songs might have been "Craiglist" with a two-minute crazy rant interspersed (a little darker than Al's recorded stuff) and a polka-type medley that included a long a capella session with the band making sounds I've heard sampled in a hundred places. Also a Latin dance version, maybe, of "Dare to Be Stupid". Really fun show, though I also want to go to one of his regular shows with the props and costumes.

I bought my first CD in 15 years, solely to listen to Remi Wolf's Juno in my car if I ever have to take it to work. I think the last CD I bought was My Chemical Romance's Black Parade which I also got into recently. That's a solid album, I wish I'd given it a proper listen back in high school. I think I would have been well into it!
