(Actually, let's be honest here. I am way past 19 and I don't live in a mansion and if my best friend asked me to put her up I'd find a way. It probably wouldn't be happening for fun college kid reasons though.)

Yeah, and in this case, it's probably more amenable to Dad than "I let random people, only some of whom I know, pay me money to store random items in your house while you were gone, and then the house [was broken into/was raided by the police/got a pest infestation/caught fire]"

Yeah. Supposedly Doc discovered a "crime gland" in the brain that predisposed people to criminal behavior. He ran a "Crime College" where criminals he captured had their crime glands removed, after which they were taught a useful trade and set up with a new job and identity.

I feel like Brenda Starr overshadows a lot of the other Old Timey Comics we get in this thread, but I want to just point out how buckwild it seems to me that we're supposed to be rooting for people hellbent on causing an ecological nightmare. Trout stream or no, dredging for minerals fucks up everything it touches. The hidden murder evidence at the bottom of the lake is kinda moot.

I won't pretend to understand the intricacies of medieval society but I would think that if one of your knights is consistently getting his rear end kicked/kicking everyone elses' asses to the point of keeping the hospital full whenever he's home, he should probably be fired, no?

Then again this is Camelot, if the Round Table listened to sanity half the poo poo they're known for wouldn't have happened in the first place.
