Surely that would be omnisexual, multisexual or pansexual. If you are bi you only get 2. Thems the rules.

2. No, we are not constantly loving.
3. No, we don't want to have a threesome. With a variation for the male bi of no, I don't want to be your bull in a threesome. I'm glad you are okay with your husband experimenting but you can just invite me for a regular threesome. If only as a change of pace.
4. No, it's not a phase.
5. Yes, if I have a long term partner in a monogamous relationship, I don't lose my attraction for other gender presentations.
6. Yes, some of us do want long term relationships.
7. Yes, I do have standards. No, you don't meet them.

There is a currently alive writer Alison Bechdel who invented a test of media to see if it was exceptionally male-centric. A piece of media can 'pass' the test by having
• Two women
• Who talk to each other
• About anything other than a man

You will hear things like "The introduction to 'I Like Big Butts' by Sir Mix-A-Lot passes the Bechdel test." It's an interesting metric because a lot of media does not pass this test, like supposedly the media discussed in the piece. There is a tweet by the eponymous test maker earlier in the thread as well for context.

Yeah it’s a pretty great test because it’s so simple, that when something fails it kinda blows your mind a little bit in many circumstances.

Getting wound up because one particular film doesn’t pass is pretty silly for sure, it never felt like it was supposed to be a ‘gotcha’ but simply a statement about filmmaking as a whole. Good films can fail it and that’s absolutely fine.

It's okay if you have any questions.

Bad films can pass too (e.g., a lot of porn).

Oh, I see what you're asking! It's kind of a bad look to go "BUT WHAT ABOUT THE WOMEN, WHY ARE THERE NO COMPLEX WOMEN CHARACTERS" for a movie featuring gay Asian men, which may be the first "major" movie of its kind. Margaret Cho is in the movie, and she is both Asian and LGBT+, but I guess a few folks took issue with her character's existence kinda focusing around the male characters (she plays a sort of "den mother" type character, which is admittedly a role women are often assigned in "gay dude" stories).

The movie is to celebrate gay Asian men, a demographic so rarely focused on in our culture. A random white woman coming in asking "Okay cute, but where are the women?!" is just...oof.

https://twitter.com/simoncurtis/status/1534011730447060992

Now, some folks have tried to claim that maybe Hanna Rosin is being sarcastic, but she also wrote a transphobic article about a "boy wanting to be a girl", so gently caress her.

I feel like future historians will skip a huge amount of this type of things. In that sense I see no good reason to remember it, because the chance of my ghost having to explain it is so low. I’ll be ready for seances asking about 9/11 or what it was like before cell phones. Maybe i’ll go into pagers or the car phone things that were like a car battery. Honestly I’m more worried about embarrassing myself in such a public way, and if they ask about this movie I’m already hosed. Summoned from the afterlife and the medium is just shaking her head in shame.

This is exactly the type of poo poo someone will bring up when they do a seance for me too. I plan to live a lot longer so I have to save space in there, and it’s gonna be about a tweet. I hate the thought of walking back into hell and everyone asks how the thing went. Makes me realize there are entire categories of topics I would be useless for and I get back there and…lie, I guess? Just bury it and move on.

Maybe I get why ghosts are so angry. Why is an old lady from the 1800s moving chairs or tipping stuff over? Because of this poo poo, probably. Hey lady what was the war of 1812 like i got a loving book report. I’d be doing the same exact thing.
