I watched the trailer and it sucked. But the game might be good if the combat is easy and scarce and it has a good plot.

I guess weäll never know

I couldn't get past the first big story boss, I don't know if something was broken or I'm just bad

It sure is a game that exists and is currently free on GoG.

I managed to claim the game, but I won’t be of any help because the “game” is in collecting free games, not playing them as we all know.

by that definition, you are playing a free game (which consists of collecting free games). heretic!

Ark: Survival Evolved free on steam

Can you play this in a co-opy PvE way, or is it strictly PvP?

Yes there's a lot of settings to mess with and you can make it PvE only.

Also this is better than getting it free on Epic because the Steam version supports mods.

Wow, a free one that was actually on my wish list. Absolutely a first.

Also, hooray for PvE; I honestly thought that this was an online-only game. If you can't tell, I am not a social gamer.

This was the company that released ATLAS, where it still had the ARK menu underneath it, right? And hackers could spawn dinosaurs and/or tanks or something?

I have the base game, all the free maps, and the first expansion pass, (not genesis) and it needs 374.61gb

I'd need to get a bigger SSD because uh, in order to do updates it'll need some free space and that's basically 1 game for a 500gb ssd

Right-click on it in your steam library, choose "View downloadable content" and uncheck all the DLC. Then install.

I can't seem to do that for games before I install - I tested this on Planet Zoo. It looks like I would have to install 125+ gb of data, then remove what I didn't want. I'm away for the summer and, with my current connection, it would take me 12 hours to download all of that.

I unchecked all the DLC just now, and went to download it from my library, and it prompted me with 125.95gb instead.
