I'm a fan of Darknet Diaries but dang while the host has always been crypto friendly he's been leaning into that too much without any hint of skepticism. I understand crypto payments are an essential part of many of the great episodes that revolve around ransomware and illicit marketplaces and that's no problem, but when he's talking about the excitement of NFT drops or the wonders of collective mining efforts it's a bit annoying. Has also been oddly too friendly and deferential towards some recent guests, like the guy who was nonstop extorting money from any company he could get a hold of, and the host seemed upset that he should face any jail time.
