I am also confused about the bolt threading direction. Is the video flipped, or are there some kinds of bolts/screws that are backwards for certain purposes?

I’m gonna guess flipped, a lot of the time they do that sort of thing (or vertically stretch) to get around automatic content recognition.

Look at the words on the case at the end, you can't make out what it says but you can tell the capital letter is on the right, meaning the text can be read right to left. So these must be Arabic threads.

Some threads are backwards. Usually they are used opposite normal right hand threads. For example, I recently worked on a rod that connected two axles on a vehicle. There was a rod end on both ends. One side was right hand, the other left hand. That way, once everything was screwed together, you could loosen the rod and when you turned it one way, both rod ends would get pulled into their threaded holes, shortening the distance between them. Turn the other way, they move out of their threaded holes and the distance increases. Lets you get the wheels aligned if something is off.

If both ends were normal right hand threads, one rod end would get pulled in while the other pushed out and the distance between wouldn't change.

It is a normal right hand bolt and the video is flipped in this case.

EDIT: D'oh, messed up LH and RH threads!

Compressed gas cylinders/regulators use different thread directions, along with different sizes/types, for various gases/pressures.

Bicycle pedals are left hand thread on the left, right on on the right. That way you're pedalling in a way that keeps the pedals tight.

A lot of people buy bikes off the internet, don't know that fact, are too dumb to notice the L and R stickers (which are different colors to help catch your eye), and they try to jam the wrong pedal into the wrong side. Other people will just jam the correct pedal into the hole and start cranking hard, cross-threading the crank. Pro tip from my dad: turn the bolt or screw the wrong direction until you feel the click. Your threads will now engage safely.

The amount of bikes I've seen with backwards forks is pretty funny. Even goons have done it and posted pics of their new bike.

Flint wouldn't do that without steel to ignite. There's a tiny tongue of flame where the stick starts, and it looks like the stick is dragging some lit gas along into the unlit gas, or disturbing the dirt and letting more out.
