He does this with everyone, he's constantly looking for weaknesses, either ones he can exploit and take advantage of or ones that will reflect poorly on him. Most of the time it's verbal, digs at peoples ethnicity to piss them off, mentioning The Deep's abuse of Starlight constantly, commenting how sickened his is by A-Train's weight gain/ lack of powers, all of his actions are to remind every he is the guy, he is untouchable, he can say and do what he likes so they remember he's the top god. Exactly, any weakness is to be exploited, and any trait he doesn't have is treated as a weakness as well. Everything's fair game so long as it reminds people who's number one. Homelander treats everyone like he's a clique-y middle school girl, and honestly that's more horrifying than anything else I've seen him compared to.

Few questions seeing as this seems to be now the ask questions you're not sure about thread: 1) What's with Soldier Boy's big red beam and why does a laser that can blow up a building make it the "ultimate weapon"?? 2) They went to Russia and killed some mafia dude for no reason? Bit weird of the show to have basically a filler scene in there. Was cool though. 3) Why dont they just show the tape of Homelander letting those people on the plane die? Seems like an easy way to discredit him and have people realise what a monster he is. 4) Starlight suddenly goes from hating to dating Homelander (Is this a power he has?) then thinks she can still Hughie to not take the green power drug? (Sorry forgot the name).
