IT'S SO TINY

Was going to go to a beach today on a lake, and for some reason it didn't open until 1 PM even though there's no lifeguard on duty. So I bought a spite-kayak and used it to get across the water to spend the morning on the beach.

I feel it's a good starter kayak, to see if I'm interested in investing in a non-inflatable in the future. Held up remarkably well, though.

EDIT: Despite all that, ended up spending only about 10 minutes on the beach before I took a trip around the lake instead.

Nice, inflatable Kayaks are great fun, and they make some really nice ones that rival hardshell that ustilise something called a drop stitch. They get very rigid and I can fit it in the back of my Mistubishi Mirage. If you get into it it's well worth looking into those and foldables if you don't want to also invest in roof racks or a trailer.

Went to a theme park and bought a shirt. Do I want the shirt with the New For 2022 hotness that’s a loving amazing ride? No, I want the shirt with the Old From 1993 hotness that’s slightly less amazing but still great. Iron Gwazi wasn’t on the Travel Channel when I was 10, Kumba was :colbert:

I bought a new car!

And by new I mean almost 100,000 miles old. So, you know, 50/50 the CVT blows or the piston rings clap out here soon. But hey, I only paid about half the cost of a new one! And it's got a nice roof rack for my kayak! And the engine seems to be powerful enough I don't have to turn off the AC to accelerate or go uphill!

They'll get cleaned up, new strings, and probably flipped for a few bucks profit each, or more than a few in the case of the Jackson.

Listen buddy, we all got problems!
So I'm working from home these days, so in the last 2 years I've not even done 5k miles.
So I sold my car and to help me get around when the better half is at work/out, I've bought a bike!

Haven't owned one since I was a teenager. I'm oddly excited for exercise. Hopefully it can help me lose the belly too.

Spent a week at a lake cabin with my family and my Dad brought one of these along. It was light as a feather, folded open in half a second with one hand, and was more comfortable than any other piece of furniture in the cabin. We pretty much spent the week taking turns with who could sit in it.
