The real curse is that there are still medical professionals diagnosis "Aspergers" in 2022 instead of y'know, just Autism. ICD-11 has been out for 3 years now, DSM-V for 9. This ain't new poo poo. I know it's a copypasta but "Aspergers Elitism" is actually a legit problem in the Autism spheres, both from parents/family/friends who really want it so that their loved one "isn't that bad" and from other autistics who want you to know "well I suck but at least I'm not autistic-autistic pleasedon'tbemeantomeI'malmostnormalIswear." Ends up just loving with literally everyone involved long-term.
