A friend had a minpin that he would bring over from time to time. If you ever let it out of your site though, it would get onto the deck, and get through the bars and leap 15 feet down the lawn below. He must've done this 20 times over the years, never did him any harm and he seemed to love it.

UGH

There's a Turkish miniature pinscher called Zeytin (means olive) who I bonded with and love because she's the most characterful little dog. She lives at a hotel/campground I volunteer in the summers at and I first met her in 2015 when she was as distrustful of me as she is everyone else new. She quickly warmed up to me though when my friend started hooking up with her favourite human whose room she slept in and we hung out in together. Any time we went to the beach Zeytin would get excited and trot along with us, chasing pine cones I threw for her and generally being a cool beach buddy. There's also a serious hike up to a waterfall that involves a bit of sketchy climbing which I've seen many humans back down from - but not this tiny dog, who came along for the journey one time and shot up it like a mountain goat, and had me scrambling up near sheer cliff faces to retrieve her when she went off piste.  In her old she's got a little blind and more cautious. Also she doesn't like men in hats, with long hair, or dark skin which meant she lost her poo poo when a black guy with dreads and a baseball cap wandered in one time. I just had to tell him she didn't like strangers.

This is Little Dog (aka Devil Doll aka DD aka Martini Bikini). I adopted (inherited actually) her when she 10 years old, so she already had the cropped ears and docked tail. Just chillin'  Helping me work  Sadly, she passed in her sleep this last weekend. She was 18 years old, so she had a VERY full life. Full of zip until the last 4 months or so.
