E: Anyway this is a lovely thing to talk about because our system of competing nation states is a horrific amoral nightmare and there's no way to take any position that aligns with any major power without compromising any consistent set of morals and avoiding hypocrisy so it just descends into whataboutism or cynicism Space telescopes are cool though.
