Yeah I'm not concerned about nazis getting shirty about things, it's just more that it was a real thing until relatively recently, a poo poo ton of people died because of it, and the whole premise of the protagonists journey revolves around her accidentally participating in the deaths of some people over ideology. Yeah that's the one big real holdup for tone, aside from my pathetic mandarin pronunciation. The game is shot from the perspective of a schoolgirl that has a *very* inappropriate relationship with an older person but since it's told from her childish perspective it's not directly framed as a negative thing, since she doesnt realize what she is a victim of. I don't think it was Red Candle's fault so much as the best they could do without breaking the flow of things would be to have several more people standing around going "Jesus dude what the gently caress". The warnings above are, I think, mostly about the fact that because it's a visual novel type of game, there's a metric poo poo ton of dialogue, and transcribing or screen-shotting all of that tends to burn out people before too long.

It was AA2 where that same LPer ended up stopping in the middle of. So yeah it really doesn't apply to AA itself anymore.

Yeah, I'm aware of the one actual successful AA LP. It's just that with this one as a blind LP, there's no guarantee that we'll get to AA 2. If DKII was starting from AA 2 then I wouldn't worry, but they're not so yeah.

Worst case is they get bored/distracted/whatever comes up and it gets abandoned which, whatever. If someone wants to do a LP, putting in some effort, and not doing some hosed-up game, I don't see any reason to talk them out of it.
