You can usually figure out at the start if it’s biographical, historical, or geographic which helps with starting guesses. I usually start with first, most, one, and if there are clearly numbers, 1 and 2. Made and used are good early guesses. Sometimes it’ll be a complete bullshit article where there’s no way I can solve it though.

I think that Quordle is the sweet spot for difficulty. The others all allow enough guesses that you can shotgun letters in your first guesses and cover enough of the alphabet to turn a lot of the puzzles into word scrambles. I usually use BOUND WHACK FRETS IMPLY, which covers 20 letters in four words. Quordle lets you do that too, I suppose, but the margin is tighter.
