I don't believe that the alliance has changed and removing SA from waffe is funny as something to focus on. I haven't actively played in a decade but i resub for most major wars but I think next time the horn is sounded ill be on the other side. Or just won't give a gently caress. The game sucks.

Yeah no, I would say I'm gonna miss the comradery but since the SA portions have moved on and consolidated elsewhere that will be the same. It's sad that a group that has such wonderful tools and infrastructure is being left behind, but only for those things and what it could've been if some humanity and oversight was applied. Honestly, waffe having its own leader and corp activities outside of roles-holding is something that was being talked about years ago as being a good and necessary step that ought to be taken. It sounds like they all actually want him back - the players and people who want him gone out of Goonswarm have already left or been kicked like Delta and it sounds like (from a bad view I have of here and r/eve) that the majority want The Mittani to stay anyway. The leadership doesn't want to change that much- have a HR policy so there's less...drama around and things to back to normal. Normal without taking in Goons from SomethingAwful is the new normal. The last remnants of the old republic have been swept away. I was wrong on who would be fleeing who to the Eye of Terror-Stain. The Emperor is now on his golden thrown after being wounded by his most favored son, and the ones who fought to bring down his hypocrisy and tyranny are now leaving themselves or being kicked out by the new Lords of Terra. And they probably don't want to stay anyway, now. Too many bridges are burning.
