Higher level animals do offer more materials, there is a calculator in the “Slaughterhouse” library page that will help you figure out your ideal slaughter level and animal amount based on your current skills. For instance, I currently slaughter 25 Level 6 pigs and 5 Level 10 cows per day.

But owl at level 5 is best for honey. The anglerfish is required for Pirate Cove though and level 6 macaw is extremely worth it anyways.

You’re also gonna need a level 6 snake for a buttload of coins anyway sooooo. Also start doing the exchange center trades for the seemingly useless items, you’ll need those too.

Borgen's camp on wednesdays or wheel spins on other days. I think both have minimum farming level requirements so just sell a minimal amount to avoid voiding until you get those unlocked, it's relatively quick.

Large island, higher level fishing zone. You can use the ancient coins to spin the wheel more often, or do another vault. Try to be near your cap by Wednesdays for borgens store.

Woohoo! Finally fished up those 300 different gold fish and unlocked the pirate cove. Glad I saved up 450+ large nets as I made a pile of cash selling them. What's next? Still not even 90 exploration so tower is out. Just...build up cash?

Grinding to 300 salt is the worst one yet. Not that its hard but if I were to beeline for it I would be voiding everything else in the place you explore for it so my min-max brain insists on also getting stuff needed to turn those coals into lanterns and such.

I don't really see the point in voiding everything for a single goal. It might give you a small short term advantage but the long term costs seem bigger? If you grow a couple of badges of Mushrooms at your farm each day, you should be able to explore grind WC without voiding things, making tons of silver and getting GM progress on the side. Edit: This is what my current masteries look like after trying to avoid voiding:  Ah then it will be less profitable to grind out and voiding might be the better option. I don't void anything, because silver is silver, but it's kind of impossible by design to productively use everything from an exploration zone without wasting a ton of time elsewhere making up the required components. Right now I've been selling slime but once I GM garnets and garnet rings I'll switch to making that.

If you're playing on desktop you can have a separate tab open to the Farmer's Market and press Sell Unlocked every time you use 5 ciders I guess. It gets more convoluted if you're trying to craft all that extra Oak instead of vendoring it. Though if you're on mobile that seems far less viable. Once you're at 99 Explore I guess you can use stamina on the Forest to get mushrooms since you're not desperate for WC's xp.

I void a ton of stuff every day because I don't want to spend 3 hours a day checking in for Mushrooms every 20 mins. Yes, I make like half the cash I would otherwise, but I also log in for 10 minutes twice a day.

I'm lazy minmaxing by splitting my explores up between WC and forest like 3:2 so I can make use of the most items with minimal voiding while making as much money from large nets, red shields, and anything requiring oak as possible. I'm only explore 90 but this has been working so far.
