Saw Tim live today in San Francisco... I know it's not part of the On Cinema world but I still wanna say words!!! I couldn't believe how well he worked the crowd with his stand-up character. I hadn't actually known that was gonna be part of the act when I bought the tickets, I thought it was just his music, but drat that was impressive. Like I know and love his comedy, but I still wasn't sure how that act would actually land in person... but he just nailed it 100% and the crowd was fully on-board.

Two questions: 1. How are people getting trading cards? 2. Can anyone who saw Tim confirm whether the stand up special is different from the recorded special on YouTube? I know it's the same character but I'm hoping it's new material. I have tickets for Durham at the end of the month.

I just got back from last night's show in Seattle and it was the same gist but entirely new jokes. There was a running theme of knee slappingly bad puns based on politicians' names. Expect 1/4 of the show to be stand-up and the remaining to be music.

Got really lucky with my pulls at the North Carolina Tim show. Was disappointed there was no Rats Off To Ya at the merch table, but that's ok, I wasn't really expecting it. I got the Very Good Band shirt you can see under the cards.

Saw that Neil Hamburger is coming to town on September 10. I've seen him live once before, in 2010 when he opened for the Tim & Eric Awesome Tour. But that was before On Cinema and me knowing a lot more about Gregg and his career, so I'm betting I will get even more out of it this time. Though I wish it was going to be just a day later, I can only imagine his thoughts on 9/11.
