Y'all have heard of Sealand, right? Some rando claimed a similar structure that was in international waters, and declared himself King of Sealand. Actual nations ("actual" here meaning "ones with any power to speak of") don't think much of this, of course.

Sealand was outside of any nation’s territorial waters at the time it was claimed.

Left wall makes a large head and the stepping of the blocks makes the nose horn, one of the upper horns, and that frill on the back of it's neck. I don't feel like drawing this one and accept you probably won't get it from my description. Cat Hatter fucked around with this message at 10:34 on Jul 18, 2022 |

Guns and all, I know, but my eye keeps getting drawn to that poo poo bordering job done with the bricks. The PO of my house did a similar thing, but at least they a) used solid bricks and b) actually had them straight.

Isn't tooting expanding foam into cracks in brickwork... counter-productive?

I choose to believe that they got tired of their old, unused, drafty fireplace, and decided to fill the inside of the chimney with expanding foam to seal it, and that's what escaped through the failing brickwork.

Went over to my girlfriend's house because her the ceiling fan in her living room stopped working. Turned out to be because it was installed by a former homeowner who grabbed power for it from the closest thing available, which was the attic light. Which is switched at the top of the attic stairs. Not crappy per se, but lazy as gently caress.
