read a story today where a teen saves to buy a first car and they get a used 2014 ford focus electric with 60k on it and the battery immediately dies and ford service quoted them 1.5x the used purchase price to replace it but then later it was ok because the less than 8 year old battery design isnt made anymore so the car was just totaled

I have been assured just today that the fires in Europe were started by climate terrorists, that the rock with the warning being revealed by drought means the drought is natural if they carved it the first time, that we were told global cooling existed in the 1970s and that plymouth rock, which has been moved twice and had a seawall built around it, is at sea level so water isn't rising. None of these are particularly new idiot denialist talking points but the frantic nature in which they are being presented to me today shows these people are really struggling to cope. You see Al Gore said there would be a blue ocean event in 2014 and it didn't happen. Checkmate.
