If you motorized the display part of the ThinkPad to go back and forth and drilled some holes in the top this would be such a good lawn sprinkler.

Welcome to my everyday. Had to double check that timestamp. Even though this is the 91 freeway, you can write [insert number here] freeway and no one here would question you.

So did that one car at the end just drive into the wall? It vanishes off-screen but at the angle and speed I am not confident it could pull back into a lane in time...

Wouldn't those different types of wood have different density and water absorption properties? When they get cold/hot and wet/dry wouldn't they expand and contact at different rates as a result, loosening the joint over time? Talking about the clips with different coloured wood.

Don't worry after each clip they smeared glue all through each one then put gang nail plates over them.

Wood movement matters much more in other cases. They stretch & shrink along the grain, so for most 90 degree joints the wood wouldn't push to separate the joint, just make a small gap that closes itself the next wet/dry cycle. Plus, glue can easily overcome the small effect at this level. The real place it matters is where long edge meets long edge, like where a tabletop meets the styles, or those "river" tables where they fill a long area with epoxy, OR when a piece is very long so the end can move appreciably like hardwood flooring which can't go all the way to the wall. The trim at the bottom of the wall hides this intentional wiggle room.
