For next level garlic bread take a few whole bulbs and cut the tops off, pour some olive oil on them and bake for about ten minutes at 350 degrees. When they come out let them cool for a few then squeeze all of the garlic up into a bowl and mash it up with a fork.

It spreads like butter and tastes even better than chopped garlic and you can throw it in drat near anything.

Hey, just to graze the subject of cheese plants again, are they dangerous to cats? I'm reading that it causes oral irritation to them, which seems like a good deterrent to teach them not to eat it, but is it risky otherwise?

It's easier with a foor processor. Melt a bunch of unsalted butter and let it cool a bit. Take a shitload of garlic, some parsley, salt, pepper, Italian seasoning (oregano, thyme, rosemary, basil essentially), a little cayenne, and some lemon juice and emulsify in a blender with the melted and cooled butter until it looks and tastes delicious.

I mean it's herbed butter and delicious. Really just season it to taste.

Triphop chat, Mezzanine is probably my favorite album of all time, Portishead is incredible, agreed with Tricky's Maxinquaye being his best and for some odd reason I've put it on while wrapping Christmas presents for the past 3 years. Every time I watch The Fifth Element I always tell whoever I'm watching it with "Yo that's Tricky!". No mention of Hooverphonic? For shame, though I don't listen to them as often as I used to, Blue Wonder Power Milk is so good. Most days when I'm working I'll just fire up a Massive Attack radio on Youtube Music, it's just non-stop excellent music.

Here's my friend's 12 year old rescue making sure everything is satisfactory while doing my business.

:rip: my arteries

I make garlic butter all the dang time. Any time I'm cooking potato croquettes to have with a chicken Kiev, I make extra garlic butter because no chicken Kiev has enough garlic butter for my croquettes.
Then I make garlic buttery bread with the leftover garlic butter because there is always leftover garlic butter.

Edit: I remember the very first time I heard Portishead on MTV back in the 90s, I immediately rang my brother to excitedly tell him I'd just heard the most amazing thing :3:
My good friend James, who occasionally shows up here in the good tweets thread was the one who introduced me to Archive.
Londinium remains to this day, one of my absolute favorite albums.
If you like Maxinquaye, Portishead, Massive Attack and have never heard of Archive, seriously, give Londinium a listen, it's magic.

I've never had cats, but I've had plenty of nibbly dogs and parrots who, yeah, are famously keen on chewing everything.

Cheeseplants are leathery and off putting to most animals who like to chew things. None of my dogs or birds have ever tried chewing a cheeseplant, because, frankly, they do not seem all tasty.

I'm not a big trip hop fan, but it's been really interesting to read about its history and these obscure British musical scenes such as the 'Bristol sound'.

Kind of reminds me of that Todd in the Shadows episode on EMF, which came to prominence at around the same time. I'd highly recommend his content if you have even a passing interest in music.

I really like Mezzanine but I think there‘s a steep drop in quality toward the end. First few tracks are undisputed classics however.

How popular is Waldeck anyway? I really like this album and especially this cover of a David Bowie song.

She has no clue what to do except to look after that weird squeaky puppy :3:

Edit 2: gotta stick in a boost for Archive, even though they absolutely sucked after the first astonishingly good album.
