Of interest to this thread, I have just come across this freely available online (legally) library with an absurd amount of Polish movies. Cool, thanks Saoshyant! Definitely gonna be some treasures in there. Wednesday July 20, it's time again for the blind swordsman! It's the 1965 chambara classic Zatoichi and the Chess Expert!  Zatoichi is a blind masseuse and gambler in the Edo period who is, secretly, the master of the shikomi-zue; a hidden cane sword. This is the 12th movie where Sintaro Katsu plays him, overall he ended up playing the role in, according to wikipedia, "25 films between 1962 and 1973... 100 episodes across a four season television series from 1974 to 1979, and in a 26th and final film in 1989, which he also directed." (the place is https://cytu.be/r/BYOBmovies @ 7pm EDT just in case) Baahubali 2: The Conclusion is evidently a sequel to baahubali: the beginning and i honestly don't want to look anything up about this before watching it because having seen the tree soldier catapult scene was enough. i assume it's like a mahabharata tale or something along those lines? bollywood movies are in my humble opinion, a loving blast. this apparently is tollywood? the tamil version? gosh i need to read up on this more clearly. ANYWAYS LOOK AT THESE COOL POSTERS.   this one is just under 3 hours, so be sure to stock up on snacks. see you there!
