are there any studies into the number of pollutants that farmers are exposed to through their drinking water? That's mostly well water that's pulled up from the water table, right? Their drinking water isn't being pulled from aquifers or anything like that is it?

Not exactly a surprise but at least they're openly admitting they're not going to do anything to stop using fossil fuels. Looking forward to when it becomes uneconomical to pump more oil and the resulting wars.

yea this is the only reason I mow at all. Mostly our property is forested but the area around the house is maybe a half acre of lawn. I make zero effort to control what plants constitute "lawn" but I do keep it short because deer ticks here are 50% lyme positive.

I think i mentioned this before but my high school's football team kept getting MRSA in their frequent turf burns from the artificial field. i'm talking at least 5-10 cases that i knew of while i was attending

Reading peoples posts about their huge gardens and acres literally outside of their house makes me jealous as gently caress. As an apartment dweller the only thing I can ever hope to grow is cat grass and maybe a bit of nana for tea on a 1 meter x 40 cm window frame that gets maybe 2 hours of sunlight a day.
