Would you be my new best friends?

Just straight up stealing evidence in front of the cops. Also apparently Belogi literally only had one camera filming everything in multiple rooms..... :thunk:

Well there does not appear there was any actual crimes happening it was just a prank video. Unless Spider-Man wishes to press charges.

Again a very likpatous story

Looks like the car theft stuff was handled in the Sunday comic. Judging from the statement that he was nearly busted, I'm going to guess the guy found out Peter stole the car to rescue Aunt May and went "Ah heck I'll drop the charges since it was for a good cause."

Belogi: Look all I did was hire prostitutes, try to film a pornographic video for sale without informing half the participants they would be taking part, abducted a wealthy heiress, and assaulted and restrained a man.... I thought this was America!?!

I'm just picturing their neighbors passing by Peter on the stairs trying to keep a straight face to not point out he's in his Spidey suit. Like if someone had their zipper down and you don't wanna be the one to point it out

This mofo is really walking through his apartment floor in Spidey getup minus the mask :psyduck:

Twelve by Pies

Again a very likpatous story
Him walking through the apartment without his mask on isn't that dumb I guess since all he has to do is say "JJJ paid me to pretend to be Spider-Man to fool Muffy Ainsworth" which is true, although I imagine the news of her being kidnapped by Belogi and saved by Spider-Man would make it suspicious later. That's a problem for future Peter, though!

It really is incredibly weird that he's not coming in through the window, especially since his defense is going to be "I accidentally had to do Spider-Man things" and coming in through the window would lend support to that.

It doesn't come up very often, but the real reason Peter usually comes home through the window is because MJ won't let him have an apartment key.

Police: What's going on here?
Kingpin: Myself and my friend here were mugged and left tied up and beaten by two masked men.
Police: Well as I have no evidence you yourselves committed any crimes, and there is nobody around to offer another side of the story, and you are both respected businessmen, I'll just get you untied, take your statements and let you go without hesitation.
Meanwhile, Spidey and Iron Fist are high-fiving that they finally put away two criminal masterminds for good.

There is a whole theater full of criminals who can attest that they tried to murder them.

Plus they were jetpacking without a license.

As a reminder, Pete’s entire involvement in this plan was due to “I don’t care about the criminals that much, but I want to save the theater that MJ’s play is running in, can’t let Kingpin blow it up”.

The theater that’s now blown up, because he crashed a helicopter into it.
