I wish I had a better followup to that Heart dissection effortpost but all I have to add is that whoever it was that said Heart storylines never go anywhere, just sort of end and go to the next thing, is going to be very vindicated today. Breaking Cat News Phoebe and Her Unicorn Wallace the Brave Heart of the City Okay but nothing bad happened, you did not even show why the pyramid scheme is bad, you just had one character say "that's bad" and then we wrapped it up. This isn't really a story, it's just almost a story. Curtis

Yeah, an extra week of strips of PROBLEM happening because of circumstances and then Heart being pushed to do the right thing would work a lot better. Have the kids she brought on board mess things up(i.e. she can't force them to pay her back) or have the principal come by and ask why kids are acting like MLMs in their school.

It's amusing how often Cat Tales lacks a proper setup or punchline. Something unexpected happens and it might be slightly amusing but not quite there yet. Some of them feel like side gags from the early cartoons. Also, Mopsy takes no prisoners.
