The best thing about that photo is that it's all people doing Nazi salutes that have their faces censored, and not any of the people who obviously don't like being there. Speaks to the priorities of the poster who put it up originally.

Early 00s conventions were weird (and certainly gross in particular areas) but they were simpler. The mid 00s initial boom of anime meant crowd sizes exploded and good god things got out of hand very quickly.
