Top Gear 2 (SNES) Just okay. Of the SNES racers I've played (mario kart, f-zero, uniracers) it's definitely the worst. It's too long; I had bought every single upgrade by just after the halfway mark of the game. I dunno, check out the first four races if you wanna play it.

Metal Gear 2: Solid Snake I enjoyed this a lot more than the first one. It felt like a MGS game in 2D and I finally understand where a bunch of motifs in the series started. Would recommend to anyone who likes MGS and still hasn't played it

Demon's Souls - Finally beat this on rpcs3 after importing it in 2009 and giving up halfway. I guess I still like Dark's Souls a little better for some reason but Demons has better bosses and consistently great levels (except for 1-4 not having a shortcut and the stupid blue dragon you can't kill with melee!!!)

17. Photopia played through this last night. really nice little interactive fiction game. it's more of an interactive story than a typical text adventure game like Zork, but there is one actual puzzle toward the middle of it. highly recommend giving this a playthrough if you have a solid ~30 mins to dedicate to it and let the story soak in. it's sad. i looked it up afterward and apparently this game is on pretty much every "interactive fiction/text adventures you need to play before you die" list, but it's also hated by a lot of genre purists for kinda being on rails and for utilizing color (lol...loving grognards). i think it's pretty innovative for 1998.
