Yea I think this all lines up pretty good. Fantastic Four(which probably sets some stuff up for Secret Wars) is set to be released before the next Avengers movie in 2025, then Secret Wars is November 2025. So I think it's likely they do an X-Men movie in between May 2025 and November 2025. But it's possible Shang Chi 2 has that slot and they hold off on X-Men until 2026. Maybe X-Men characters get involved in Secret Wars like you mentioned, then they get their own movie afterwards.

What was the source for that X-Men/recast story? I never saw it beyond random twitter accounts repeating the info.

Yes, you should. In terms of a movie fight, Mechafunkzilla is stacking the deck a bit by picking one of the worst-looking action scenes in the movie. But, yeah, even if Eternals is one of the better-looking MCU movies, it's no Immortals.

Howard the Duck is a weird movie. On the one hand, it's unapologetically 80's, which is great. And that main song slaps. And super weird can be awesome. But also, it has Leah Thompson loving a duck. And it has duck tits. And, you know, Jeffrey Jones. (Like, on a page that mentions sex pests...)

Howard the Duck was kinda cursed by not having Steve Gerber or someone equally cranky on board. Like the whole point of the comic was Howard was an observer of human folly and without that satirical focus it's just... there's a duck who talks.

Marvel likes formats so I�d imagine we get a few origin story movies of like Storm, iceman, X and magneto etc before they unite the Xmen to fight the avengers for reasons.

Alternatively, Deadpool 3 is going to more than likely introduce the Xmen into the MCU since it was already in the last movie. Hoping we get an x force movie out of it too.
