5 of us went to Dreamcatcher, 2 in my car 3 in the other. Us two wore masks and were fine, the other 3 didn’t and weren’t. Double on cloth if you don’t have n94/95 and cross your fingers!

Get your booster (little late if you haven't and the concert is tomorrow), wear a mask. Try to be well rested and skip on smoking/drinking if you normally do those. Basically, take measures to protect yourself, and avoid doing things that add extra stress onto your immune system.

I went to four concerts in April and avoided getting it, if you mask you really do have a decent chance to not get it.

Idle was such a great show. Had a loving blast with them. Made a “marry me” sign in Thai for Minnie that took her like 5 times to read but she squinted and read it and nodded yes and winked and blew me a kiss, then pointed at the sign in my hand at the hi touch meet and greet and smiled. Dead.

Oh!! I didn't know this thread existed. Went to Chicago in July to see Stray Kids with my niece. Originally was going to be me and husband but my sister suddenly couldn't watch our three year old. Reached out to my brother to see if his adult children wanted to earn some good cash babysitting. After some discussion learned my youngest niece absolutely loves Stray Kids / all things K-pop and totally made her life by taking her to the concert instead of my husband :3:

Also made my husband's life by not dragging him from Columbus to Chicago for a K-pop concert lol.

Different but still sounds like them. I don't know if this is still a SSD/LE written/produced track, but even if its not they did a good job making sure it fit.

Which is something I've noticed groups are getting a lot better about these days. Even without doing the yg-method of "just have the same guy produce everything" there are some really good sound management people in the industry currently (the specific name for this job is completely escaping me but its a whole thing).

Yep, it's still SSD and LE.

In less happy news, SNSD have gone all this time avoiding rona, only for Seohyun to test positive today. Their music shows have been pushed back to next week, assuming none of the other girls also test positive.

Like the verses but that chorus really needs a second half a la Tri.be’s Kiss. anti drop doesn’t work if it doesn’t lead to something more, especially with repetitive phrasing like that. Ending is really weak too, not only because it’s an exact repeat of previous songs and videos lol. Video is pretty cool.

Interesting that we got old BP with Ready for Love followed by this, and I think R4L was much stronger. At least this is just the prerelease.

Someone needs to surgically implant the drop from Kill This Love in here

edit: the drums on that second verse are the best part of the song just give me that please, no sitar necessary

I think he's just scraping the bottom of his well. Outside of the touch of sitar there isn't much difference from Whistle, except there have been plenty of other minimalistic/stripped sounding songs since so it doesn't stand out that way. And that was 6 years ago now.

That said the stylists and lighting and such people did a knock-out job.

I wouldn't go as far as saying its the best but its definitely the highlight of the song, and if the song had been focused around the rapping with the vocals sort of inserted how rap parts usually are it might have worked fairly well.

.Z. posted:

Yea it was a bit.. more.. than I expected haha. The feature worked well I thought. The song is short but I don't think you could extend it without adding in something with a big shift or having it feel way too long, so it works.
