there is a thread on /r/fuckcars today where people are defending drive thus turns out a line of idling vehicles circling a restaurant is actually good because - the disabled - effort to remove children from car - not getting raped or robbed (really) - the pandemic - can listen to music - "No needless interactions. Very well-suited for introverts." (there are several people with such crippling social anxiety they need to talk to a human over an intercom, then talk to a second human to pay, then a third to collect their food, instead of ordering through the kiosk and wordlessly picking their order up at the counter)

What I mean is that while fast food can be a nice snack, it's basically a drug that's harming lots of Americans, and any arguments about equitable access to fast food are doubly absurd. Like saying it's ableist to not have drive-throughs at a liquor store.
