This came up in my feed tonight: Richard Z Kruspe's Kemper Profiler rig explained I'm not a huge Rammstein guy but drat do I love a good rig rundown, and Kemper is the same who designed the Access Virus synth, of which I am a huge fan.

yeah. that's the new one. saw it come by on ID:YD the other day. get a lot of very early skinny puppy vibes, "smothered hope" stuff, or project pitchfork i like them because they're such nerds in a way that expresses genuine loves for the tropes of the genre. they seem like they're genuinely enjoying themselves https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NlngiTVPmQU BrutalistMcDonalds fucked around with this message at 07:21 on Jul 29, 2022 |

Not strictly speaking only electro/industrial, but I'm pretty sure this will be some of you guys' jam. Friends of mine from the Danish industrial scene (Ex- MOTH, Chainsaw Eaters and Kold Front) put together a pretty ripping EP: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=V5IiSnlIqmU

I’ve heard FLA has had some bad mixing lately but everything was nice and clear there. Cool area too. Going to the Frannz Club that’s basically next door in October to see Diorama. HEALTH at least owns live, dunno about Perturbator. Heard good stuff about it, though.

I still wonder how Laibach gets away with doing stuff like this.quote:Alamut will be given its debut at a former Crusader castle in Ljubljana on September 5 and 6, 2022. For the performances, the RTV Slovenia Symphony Orchestra will be joined by the Human-Voice Ensemble vocal group from Tehran, the Gallina Women's choir, and AccordiOna, a women's accordion orchestra who will be backed by additional accordion players. As many as 200 musicians will be conducted by Iranian conductor Navid Gohari, and if permission is granted, the plan is then for a performance to take place in Tehran with a local orchestra in 2023. Of course, no matter what they do, their social media posts are always full of haters who keep missing the point lol.

The track “Welcome Speech" kind of spells it out. It's trust. They have been doing this for decades, their bona fides are plain to see, their ideology and methods are well understood, and other artists and collaborators are willing to open doors for them.

HEALTH/Perturbator was pretty cool, I didn't realize they were (I think) co-headlining so Perturbator did a full hour+ set. I'm just happy to be going to shows again. Doesn't look like much else on the horizon for little Tampa Bay though Kaddish fucked around with this message at 16:59 on Aug 31, 2022 |

KFMDM? They're touring and I believe Tampa is a date. There's some festival 242 is playing on the east coast. Those are pretty much classic rock acts at this stage though, so anyone posting in this thread has probably had the opportunity to see them countless times.

It is the last time 242 are going to be touring in NA though, so if anyone hasn't seen them yet and wants to then either go catch them on this tour or you'll need a flight to Europe.

I have no interest in seeing modern KMFDM really. I was at the Money and I think Angst shows in the 1990s and that’s good enough for me.

The new Priest album is really good. The producer has stepped up as vocalist and front-man, and they've doubled down on the EBM stylings they sometimes flirted with before. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qdyKQGKjGUw

This is very different from their usual material but I like it still, what's this about a new frontman? I haven't been paying much attention to Priest other than listening to them on occasion
