Who was it that knew someone who was offering flattening services? Was it in another forum? I would be happy to take a chance.

I don't really wanna bother them to return it if there's a chance I can fix it. If it was Amazon or whatever I'd return it in a heartbeat. I will listen to the new show on my walk tomorrow night

The double lol is I got the same message from the same username too. Hopefully discogs isn't compromised and some one just expended too much effort on advertising a cam site.

Not that I've ever seen anything about them here, but smog veil records just sent me their last newsletter, saying the owner wasn't paying them and they were making sure the workers get paid and closing up shop.

Also have another Discogs order from Japan coming in but who knows when it'll get here. E: the Patrice Rushen I took a hit on the sleeve condition for a very nice condition record. A bit of dust on the lead-in (?) groove but very nice otherwise. Arcella fucked around with this message at 23:16 on Aug 15, 2022 |

My kids always take the stickers that come with album purchases and put them on their laptops, but I snagged this one for myself. God this album is great. It keeps feeling like it should be descend into silliness and Lynott doesn't let it. It just sound great -- like how I want songs to sound. I love it.

It's the start of everything awesome about that band although the previous album, Fighting, is loving solid as well. Everything earlier is very rough but they honed their sound around Fighting/Jailbreak. That album is so loving good though - solid start to finish. They don't really let up until about Renegade which again is solid start to finish. Thunder and Lightning is very rough - almost metal but these were the final years of Lynott's addiction. Lynott's first solo album, Solo in Soho is worth a listen too. Thin Lizzy is easily one of the most underrated bands in rock. People think they are only for Jailbreak and Boys... plus Whiskey but 3/4 of their catalogue is solid loving gold. Johnny the Fox and Bad Reputation are killer records - if you've never listened to anything past Jailbreak you owe it to yourself to explore those albums. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jwI00Udvu5E

In the context of what had been published up till that time in the 80s, I'd still agree. I always had a pretty high regard for his musical tastes. pwn posted:Please post the newsletter! In recent months. I still think most of their pricing is too expensive but they hooked me back with a recent promotion that gave me $150 in store credit if I re-subscribed for a full year. I went with Gravediggaz for the first month over Thin Liszt and aside from some minor surface noise near the end of side C/D it’s really superb.
