 And here we go, volume 2 of Shirley, released 11 years after volume 1. But we're starting right away! That cover image is from a Vietnamese release, as far as I can tell—of all the volume 2 covers I could find that had "Shirley" written in English, I found it the nicest-looking one. None was included with the translation I've got.        Technically these pages are just the introduction to the volume, to remind the readers who Shirley and Miss Bennett are after the long gap. The first chapter in the book proper comes tomorrow!

I always figured Clara was clearly supposed to be on the autism spectrum. So while it may not be easy to read her body language, she's freaking out like everyone else, just in her own Clara way.
