A little concerning. I don't see a stud, broken or otherwise, for the upper ball joint, and the lower appears to have pulled out of the lower control arm, snap ring and all. Did someone miss tightening the upper ball joint nut?

Get a different town, then. The best lawyer in your town is a moron if he a) bought a Tesla and b) paid for FSD.

You deny your lawyer bc he has a poo poo ton of money? And buys what the other rich folks have?

I picked my lawyer on legal abilities and who he knows, not dumb car choices. He owns a plane too but I do not know the info. Should I pick the sad lawyer with a cheap suit in a dump office without a plane?

Still very very very annoyed at a very senior coworker at my company. He caught Covid while on a business trip to the UK. He flew back to the US while having visible symptoms and testing positive for it. This could be partly forgiven because society has cometely collapsed, but he said he did not wear a mask while on the plane because the airlines don't require it, so he definitely got others sick on that flight.

This guy is a lead engineer in our company, but it just goes to show that having a PhD and position as a senior fellow doesn't mean he isn't an absolute idiot about other subjects.

(I know the US doesn't require a negative test to reenter the country anymore, but the guy was even asking on a conference call if he could return to the office while still sick because the recommended quarantine period is now only 5 days or something.)

A friend owned a 2017 V8 Vantage GTS for all of maybe 9 months. Gorgeous car (not silver, white, or black), but he said that with only 35k miles the (automatic) clutch was slipping and the local Aston dealer and ones in Houston and Dallas basically refused to do the replacement. I guess they figure they can make more money doing oil changes or something.

He also was telling me that despite bleeding the brakes multiple times, they would start to feel spongy, and sourcing parts to do DIY maintenance was apparently a headache.

I think he sold it about 2 months ago after just getting blown off by shops.

Yeah pretty good to get 35k miles before the clutch starts slipping on those terrible auto-manual gearboxes. Usually you can kinda help it along by recalibrating the system, which an Aston dealer most certainly should do before recommending replacement. Changing the clutch is a fairly big job but no idea why a dealer would (or even could) refuse to do the work. That's something you could complain to the manufacturer for. That auto-manual gearbox sucks so much. Beautiful colour

I never got a chance to drive it, but he said driving it on the road was a pretty unpleasant experience. If you weren't just going WOT and sort of bracing for gear changes, he told me it was jarring and clunky.

The color was great though. It didn't photograph well, but it was an orange-red metallic flake. Very pretty. The solid crystal ash tray in the center console was a nice touch.

But this is sent outside, not inside. This was designed so Dodge owners could continue waking sleeping babies and pissing people off with zero emissions. It's dumb. That sound should go inside so the owner can enjoy it.
