Obscure to all except those well-versed in Yuuzhan Vong lore.

I really hope it’s officially phrased as indefinite.

Pretty gross that the Texans are winning so big here after being so complicit

A year suspension would be hugely disappointing given how the contract was structured when he signed with the Browns. It was a signal flare that everyone knew that would happen.

the falcons dumped their guy to welcome deshaun too. and the cincinnati bengals are the only team to have a rapist on their team who isn't a good player and never was. why do they want that? at least other teams have a pathetic reason. don't support any of these teams.

Hmmmm. If they're settling I'm really curious if he even gets the full year. Probably something like 12 games and a $10m fine.

Settling is such bullshit. But I'm sure the NFL wants this to end so I'm sure an agreement is their desired outcome and probably why they leaked so many times about looking for a year or more long suspension.

Yeah, time to lower our expectations. I think 12 games and a fine feels most likely.

I saw Mary Kabot tweet that Goodell's designee wasn't waiting on the NFL to reach a settlement, but that's clearly bullshit.

Because they want to blame the players union on why Goddell couldn't do more.

Anything more than 8-10 and that pretty much makes this Browns season a bust, unless Brissett balls out.

My official guess is 10 + large fine.

Watson issuing that "apology" signaled to me that a settlement may have been in the works.

I'd say 10 games + large fine ($15-20M), or 12 games + smaller fine ($5-10M).

There's 0 chance it's a full year if there's a settlement.
