Watching The Raid too and combat cop has to go undercover in this one. Unlike every other undercover cop film where they fake the cops crime to place him in prison next to the baddy/baddy's son they just have combat cop beat the poo poo out of a politicians son so badly he's permanently in a wheelchair. Yeah the first is a perfect action vehicle. The second has cooler action and insane violence but spends way too long on the discount Donnie Branco stuff. Except it doesn’t even focus on the main character. You need peaks and troughs for sure to pace the action but way too many long scenes of the lamest gangster meetings ever

Watched The Bear over the weekend, really liked it it’s good, strings together different character arcs well. I’ve never worked in food services so no PTSD flashbacks at the constant screaming just “man these people all treat each other like poo poo lol” moments
