dreams are great, even my nightmares are exciting and legit. sometimes I get super emotional dreams and those can carry over into waking. known people with night terrors and it sounds terrible, they would wake up screaming.

Oh yeah there was also one time I was going through some nerve issues in my forearms (probably 'Saturday night wrist') and would sometimes wake up with my hands numb or in pain. I had a nightmare about an abnormally-large centipede, that turned into sleep paralysis, with the sensation that this bug had wrapped itself around my forearm and was biting and clawing at it.
