Arguably soy, based, cringe, etc have escaped 4chan containment and become a broader part of the terminally online lexicon whether or not you're an alt-right fascist I haven't seen She-Hulk but I assume what he's describing is the kind of constant eye-rolling Whedonisms and undercutting any kind of tension or drama with "so THAT just happened" moments that has slowly come to define every single MCU property to the point of exhaustion Arguably not a valid criticism for what is supposed to be a full-on comedy instead of an action movie where people make jokes, but then again people called Dr. Strange 2 a 'horror film' and it was tonally completely indistinguishable from a dozen other MCU movies and TV shows I've seen so

FINALLY got around to watching Season 4 of Stranger Things. Jesus, with me having work and kids and the Duffer Brothers having no ability to cut anything, it took like 2 weeks to get through the last episode. Overall enjoyable but it didn’t have to be *that* long and the separation into 3 groups was really not fun. I hope Season 5 is very much everyone in one group in Hawkins.

A very brave podcaster tried to use "Awesome Culture" in place of soy and he was mocked relentlessly for it by his co-hosts. What could have been  . It would be nice to have a good word for that specific energy without so much taint on it.
