This is just making me realize that space ghost coat to coast is a lot older than I thought...and I was also up much later at a much younger age than I thought I'm also remembering the first time I saw an episode of the actual Space Ghost show on cartoon network and being SO CONFUSED Man, Cartoon Network owning all the Hannah Barbarra stuff was pretty cool

when i was like 12 years old george lowe was on a radio show my mom used to listen to, in character, taking calls. i called in and they put me on because i was a kid and i just poo poo myself and weakly tried to repeat a bit from the show with him. massive, massive regret that i will die upset about.

Secret Squirrel being ordered to court for indecent exposure was great. Shaggy and Scooby-Doo getting busted for possession.

When we got on live during an open lines night, we just froze up and said something really stupid about bigfoot. We also both kept calling him his full name of "Art Bell" every time we said something to him. It was awkward as hell. Our recording still lives on as it's all archived on the website. What better way to start your day of dealing with ridiculous assholes than listening to absolute absurdity. We heard the Fallout (the game) call when it happened. That started a whole day of explaining Fallout to the old man.

Space Ghost started in 1994 and was being rerun at nights for a while. Adult Swim didn’t start until 2001, and even then Adult Swim was only Saturday nights/early AM on Sundays for its first few years.
