WWE wrestlers don't have non-compete clauses, they have weirdly structured contracts in which WWE can fire them on 90 days notice. The "non-compete" is them waiting out this notice period while they are still under contract with WWE. People like Gareth are too dumb to understand this so they don't realize that Jeff being fired means he's not under contract and can work wherever he wants immediately.
