Yes, good point - they are a bit on the, either vague or clickbait-y side admittedly. I like the content enough to watch anyways but ymmv. edit: shameful page snipe! ok here's some content for awful workplace stuff - I stumbled on this channel while searching for something like "LinkedIn narcissists" and hoo boy, the results didn't disappoint. Tom Cardy sings dumb songs about random poo poo. The clips are never more than a few minutes long and he only ever updates when he's got something to post, but just be aware that he's Australian so he'll casually drop a c-bomb fairly frequently https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=--9kqhzQ-8Q https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EHIHl8Rw6W8

Channel Recommendations alex lennen https://www.youtube.com/c/alexlennen Video essays on (mostly) Marvel comics. His video about the history of The Amazing Spiderman up until issue #700 is a definite highlight. Connor Higgins https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCPJ4OP3Q_Sx-EIRSQSjgzxg Really excellent videos on the histories of various TV shows/networks. His 2-parter on the rise and fall of UPN is great. hazel https://www.youtube.com/c/hazelll Makes very good videos about various Japanese things. Would recommend her Tenchi Muyo video wholeheartedly, but the video on old game/anime fansites is a close second. Mic The Snare https://www.youtube.com/c/MicTheSnare Music reviewer with some snappy editing and humor. Give his video on how music changed in the 2010s a watch. Video Recommendations https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7Up6VtF3JbA A dive into the weird and wonderful history of Beatmania. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UmNrCmaWpng How skateboarding games lived, died, and could live again. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=j6bxB9vTToQ A look into the production hell that was Spider-Man: Turn Off The Dark. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TRgAfvzHdT8 Malcolm In The Middle is a great show.

There’s something weirdly cathartic about the whole affair and if you’re even vaguely interested about civil engineering it’s interesting to see how these sorts of problems are solved. Water management is far more important and complex than you likely realize. On this note, check out Emriver or alternatively just search for "stream table"s on youtube if you've ever wondered why rivers snake, how deltas are firmed, or what happens when you build retaining walls into a stream. It's fascinating to watch and v relaxing at the same time. I now shake my head in sorrow when I see ppl attempting erosion control on the local creeks bc I feel superior knowing the downstream effects of walling segments of moving water

First off I hate all of you for every post in this thread because every poster has been linking me to banger amazing channels and my already lack of free time is now dead. I seriously bought a pair of bone conducting bluetooth glasses so I can listen to all this stuff in my normal day. For any old fucks like me who have nostalgic boners for independent video stores and stumbling upon gems and duds via VHS covers I present the latest uploaded 80's VHS via VHS Legacy. This channel finds out of print or lost media from the late 70's all through the early 90's. It's mostly garbage but the kinda garbage you can't help but to keep sniffing.

Any recommendation for channels that review and or showcases firearms, preferably historic ones? I know Forgotten Weapons were recommended in this thread earlier but after he tried to publish an autobiography of active member of the Azov, I'm turned off by his content. I also know there's Jonathan Ferguson, a historian that does reviews of video games guns in the Gamespot channel and compared it to a real life gun. I want something along those lines. I offered this in return, Christian and Nat, a pair of husband and wife comedian/improvisers that makes funny improvised sketches in their car, one of my favourite sketch of theirs. Found this channel a few days ago: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UC6JPmJ_aicru8XPWr3EvJnw/videos Fitzees fabrications, it's CAR related and about fabrication, mainly of sheet metal stuff and restoring old rusted cars. I've just watched half a dozen videos so far and gotten so many good tips and techniques for repairing rust and making new parts with complex geometry with simple tools. Apparently located in Newfoundland, which is a place I think about never. I guess it explains the odd accent.

Everyone who follows music youtube should definitely check out Pat Finnerty if they haven't already. He does a series called "What makes this song stink?" which is obviously a riff on Rick Beato but it's really entertaining. This is his latest one in that series: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=n9yswswxCuw It's really worth a watch because it's hilarious, and off the back of that he decides to create a fake emo band called August is Falling, which he even went as far as making an EP for them which kind of exploded when he released a song from it on youtube: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=w-9fyRnczzo And now people like Justin Hawkins are reacting to/reviewing it and everyone comments with their own fake stories about the band: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jRNN3V3PVDs Aphex- has a new favorite as of 14:59 on Sep 13, 2022 |

Anyone have any suggestions for spooky channels, or just channels putting out a bunch of spooky content at the moment? e: Infuriating that YouTube won't let me select a "Horror" or "Halloween" or "Macabre" tag and view personalized recommendations on a subject I constantly watch videos about. Luckily amongst the tags that they are choosing to show me are "Yarn" and "Flights" and "Crochet," subjects I've never watched a single video on, so that's almost as good. feedmyleg has a new favorite as of 23:55 on Oct 25, 2022 |
